And as a result, the the Sublimated Women"s Jersey was born. 2XU developed its High Fil Sub fabric just for this jersey. And while its primary focus was placed on refining the sublimation process, moisture management came in at a close second. Starting with the later, this material uses cross-channeled yarns in order to wick moisture away from the skin, transporting it the quick-drying surface of the material. This means that you"ll remain cooler and drier during high aerobic activity than you would with a traditional polyester blend. Additionally, given its close-mesh composition, the fabric is also highly breathable. Accordingly, this allows your body to regulate its temperature naturally. Aiding in this, the jersey"s full-length front zipper allows you to quickly dump heat and to let air circulate throughout the jersey. For the sublimation process, 2XU turned to Italy for inspiration. Essentially, the fabric development was forced to coincide with the new sublimation process. As a result, 2XU found a path to the richest and most vibrant colors available on the market today. Even better, because the application method, these colors won"t fade or deteriorate. In terms of fit, the Sublimated jersey features a multi-paneled construction in order to complement the body in motion. In fact, you"ll find that 2XU actually constructed the cut of the jersey on a contour, and that the jersey"s shape is actually predicated on your body within the cycling position. This way, when you move in and out of the saddle, the jersey will move with you, not against you. And to further this ideology, 2XU incorporated stretch panels at the deltoid and scapula.
